McMahon to me is a legend in British comics and
just about any artist I know considers his influential
art to have been a driving force for their early
inspiration.
I still consider Sky Chariots to be one of
the best if not THE best comic strips ever to
be published.
I am lucky enough to own one of his early Dredd
pages and it hangs pride of place over my drawing
board to remind me that to be innovative can bring
greatness."
