Leonard Jonathan James True (1907-1990)

Leonard Jonathan James True was born on Friday 13th December 1907 and died on Saturday 14th July 1990. He had his own business in London called Warburton Studios which was the largest commercial studio in London at the time having 36 artists working for him. He did all the artwork and design for the Dan Dare Club in the 1950s, including the helicopter, the newsletter, the stamp album and stamps and the money.
